Live Music Bookings at Open Studio
Open Studio presents music shows ranging from Funk, Jazz, Latin, Balkan, Indie, and World music to original solo acts. With our return to our infamous dance nights, we're now booking party bands for Friday and Saturday late shows. During the summer we host outdoor events in our courtyard, as well as feature ticketed events on weeknights and Saturdays.

How do you plan to promote the gig?

Can I book a table for dinner?The patio is always free for meals and drinks and soon the venue will be opening daytime for breakfast and brunch, as well as bottomless brunches on Saturdays. As Open Studio is primarily a music venue by night, when you book a show you will automatically get a seat and shared table. The venue is also open earlier for pre-show drinks and meals.

Do you have gluten-free or vegetarian options?Yes, we have gluten-free crepes made with buckwheat, but not dairy free as the batter is made with eggs and milk. We also offer vegetarian crepes and burrito bowls, as well as our famous homemade vegan and vegetarian nachos.

Are children allowed at the venue?Open Studio is a family-friendly venue, and children are allowed with adult supervision. However, for feature ticketed shows, there is often ONE entrance price, and as places for seated shows are limited there are no 'child' prices unless there is a concession price. See the gig guide for the event you are interested in, as this will vary depending on the type of event. All shows will specify ' pay as you fee' event or feature ticketed show, and PAYF events are more casual events where you can just come for a meal and drink and choose to sit inside or in our cosy, leafy outdoor courtyard.

Can I book the venue for a private function?Yes, the outdoor courtyard as well as the entire venue is available for daytime and evening private events. Hire costs vary from free, depending on the numbers attending, to a minimum spend on weekend nights. See our private functions page for contact information and more details. We suggest booking in advance as the venue books 2 to 3 months in advance.
